Copyright is a legal right created by the law of a country that grants the creator of an original work exclusive rights for its use and distribution. This is usually only for a limited time.


Following information must be provided:( provide infomation on a single page and upload along with additional documents)

  1. Full Names, Address, Nationality and Nature of the Business of the Applicant.
  2. Full Name, Address & Nationality of the Proprietor/ Partner/ Directors of the Applicant.
  3. Nature of the Applicants interest in the Copyright of the work.
  4. The year & countries where the work has been published and the year of publication.
  5. The year & country of last publication.

Documents Required: (zip & upload as a single file):

  1. Power of Attorney signed by the proprietor/partner of the firm and in the case of companies, by Secretary or Director of the Company. (Please note that the power of Attorney needs not to be legalized or Notarized).
  2. Six copies of the mark.
  3. In case of labels, which can be used as a Trademark, firstly clear copyright search certificate has to be received from the Trademark office and only there after, application for copyright can be filed in the copyright office.

Government Fees: Depends upon location and nature of business.
