Procedure for obtaining Trade License & Documents Required: (zip & upload as a single file):
- An application in prescribed form is to be submitted U/S 199.
- Places of business.
- If owned by petitioner, tax bill to be produced.
- If a tenant, rent bill to be produced.
- If a lessee, lease-deed to be produced.
- If relative/person granted rent free accommodation by the premises owner, consent letter from the owner to be produced.
- If a person is granted rent free accommodation by any bonafied tenant, consent letter along with the current CE of the tenant to be produces.
- If a sub-tenant, consent of the premises owner will also to be produced along with documents viz. rent bill, current CE etc. of original tenant.
- Besides License Department Officials may also issue CE on spot if any trade/profession/calling is carried out without obtaining trade license.
- In case of Companies / Private Limited Companies, the following documents to be produced along with the application:
- Memorandum/Articles of Association.
- Declaration in Form No. 32 under Companies Act, 1956 or in the appropriate Form under the Companies Act, 2013.
- Form No. 18 under Companies Act, 1956 or in the appropriate Form under the Companies Act, 2013.
- Proof of occupancy.
- In case of Partnership Firm, the Partnership deed to be produced.
- Copy of the identity proof, address proof of the proprietor/partners/directors/Karta (any one of following):
- Election ID Card.
- Passport.
- Driving License (Not Learner’s).
- Ration Card.
- Current Electricity Bill.
- Current Telephone bill (BSNL Landline)
- Aadhar Card.
- Xerox Copy of the PAN Card of proprietor/partners/Directors.
- Xerox Copy of the PAN Card of Company/ Firm/ HUF.
